RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

In consideration of being permitted to enter restricted areas and to drive, ride, or otherwise participate in the event, I acknowledge that motorsport activities are inherently dangerous and involve risk of serious bodily injury, death, and property damage. I voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown.

I release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue WTCC Track Club, the track owner and operator, event sponsors, officials, instructors, volunteers, and their respective officers, employees and agents (the "Releasees") from all liability for any loss or damage, and any claim or demands therefore, on account of injury to my person or property, or resulting in my death, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur due to my participation. I confirm I am physically and mentally fit to participate, that my vehicle is mechanically safe, and that I will follow all rules and the instructions of officials.

I grant WTCC the right to use my name, likeness and vehicle in photographs, video and broadcasts of the event without compensation.

This is sample waiver text for design purposes. Have your attorney and the host track provide the final language. Most tracks also require a signed paper or track-specific waiver at gate check-in.
